It's quite a time ... we got some newbies the last weeks so at the moment 11 cats are living with us.
Here we go:

This is our baby Isabell. She's about 12 weeks not and lives with us about 4 weeks. She's a little princess and the queen of the team

These are Leonie, Leila, Hedwig and again Isabell

and Leonie, Leila and Bibi!

The rest of our new ones is very shy still but I hope to get some photos the next weeks.

Happy Sunday to all of you!

Hi there,
it's very stormy outside and it's raining cats and dogs so plan A - spending as much time is the garden as possible - is ruined.
But I'm ready for plan B - I declare this day as my cat day.
Wolfgang got them new toys yesterday and now they are all bouncy and running like made across the rooms.
Pictures will follow later :-))

And of course Lily is of service when I'm up to writing.
I've found this quote some day:

"If by chance I seated myself to write, she very slyly, very tenderly, seeking protection and caresses, would softly take her place on my knee and follow the comings and goings of my pen -- sometimes effacing, with an unintentional stroke of her paw, lines of whose tenor she disapproved." - Pierre Loti

and  pictures that make me laugh

May I introduce you to Ben:

Tiger brought him along 2 weeks ago. He was in a horrible state when I saw him the first time but look at him now.
One of his ears is multilated and he seems to be deaf but Ben is a wonderful soul.
At the moment he's snuggling up with his friend at the hay stack and they're both sound asleep.

As I said - there must be a sign ...

Have a wonderful night, morning, day, my friends.

High speed connection is incredible! Wow!

A few weeks ago when I was working in the garden something was licking my feet. A little very thin cat came along and was begging for food. Of course I couldn't resist to feed this little fellow.
Now nearly 4 weeks later his decision is made: he'll stay here, living in the hay stack. I named him Tiger.
Look at him, he's such a sweetheart and a very lovingly cat.
Right after him, th e next one crossed our garden, came back and stayed, too. Photos will be taken soon :-)

I wonder if there's a sing " home for kittens at Julchen's - turn to the left" - it's number 7 who found me.
And I'm glad about it.

He's waiting in the garden already - not only for food :-) See you later, guys!
Enjoy this wonderful summer day!

Here is our newest family member - Leila!
When we went to the animal shelter today and I saw her I had to weep. Yes, it's a good choice that we took her home to us.
She's very VERY shy but she loves our cats. At the moment she's sitting under my bed, snuggling up with Lily and Frida. Most important -she's HEALTHY!!!

Thank you my friends, for all your love and support to my last post. I come back to every single one of you.
Today it was another hard day because I had to bury Micky. The place I've chosen is under my blue summer lilac - I'm sure she'd have liked it there.

Now I'll play a little bit with my little rascals and then I'll go to bed - carefully ... that I won't scare Leila.

Good night, my friends.
You're simply the best.

Time flies...

My little babies Hedwig (to the left) and Charlotte are now 4 months old... They love to sit on Wolfgang's legs...

Last week I read an article about our animal shelter.
A biker found a little kitten - about 3 months old - in a garbage can. He took it to the animal shelter and they were shocked (so my friend said). Most of her fur was gone, she was nothing but skin and bones,  had a massive cat flu. I went to the shelter last Wednesday and I was shocked, too. I never saw a little kitten in such a bad state.
To make a long story short - I decided to bring her home as soon she'd have left the quarantene.

Today was the day! And now the little darling - we called her Micky at once - is sitting at my lab, purring since she came home (about 8 hours ago) and I'm soooo happy!

I'm sure she'll become a beautiful cat very very soon, though to me she already IS a beauty.
My other cats love her, too.

What a day! Happy Froday to al of you!

And here is the latest photo of my little babies Hedwig-Linda and Charlotte-Gini together with Luna at their favourite place. They are 4 weeks younger than Micky and much bigger ...

Look what my roomie Wolfgang got for me!
Aren't these two girls cute? I'm looking for names for them, any suggestions?
At the moment they are glued to my legs and I'll take them later with me to my mom - they love it there and she loves them as much as I do :-)

It was a long and exhausting day but finally it's over.
I'm so tired, I'll go to bed now.

Good night my dears!
Sleep sweet!
