This was like a song, ficlet and poem all in one. Beautiful phrases and a whole narrative too. I love Casey's brave declaration, and his sturdy sense of self-worth, and knowledge of what he has to give.
"For me, love is like a river, long and beautiful, I can’t see the end of it."
You can feel the life-changing force that this love has for Casey. "You were in my soul from the beginning." He's holding nothing back. I feel his confidence comes from innocence but that's also his strength. He only knows what he feels in himself and that's unshakeable.
"I feel the warmth of our blood, we hold each other as we hold our thoughts."
It was so blatantly erotic too, which was wonderful! "Now our souls are bare as surely as our bodies." Such passionate imagery was a beautiful and natural conclusion to all that powerful emotion.
"No more empty spaces, you fill me up with hope."
I could feel them looking at each other in the heat of love and just taking that moment to really look and feel and remember.
"Soul meets soul on my lover’s lips…"
I could quote this whole thing back, Julchen, because I loved every line! It's really beautiful, extra erotic but with the sweetness of pure love.

Date: 2008-07-04 11:56 pm (UTC)From:My Josh is a little rascal, playing and bouncing all day long. I just looked for him a few minutes ago and she's sound asleep in his hay loft. We've been at the vet this week and he's doing better day by day. I can't tell you how happy I am and it seems he's very happy, too. The neighbours love him though he's always a little bit ....hmmm... dirty because he doesn't feel when he has to use the litterbox. This won't change but we all love him anyway. He's very charming and he knows it! Whenever I'm going to open the cellar door he's still there - waiting for me and for FOOD! He added 4 pounds the last week and he looks much better now. I wish you could see him, oh, I'll take some pics tomorrow for a little up-date.
Finally he's got a "gentleman agreement" with our second outside cat Minzie, so they look at each other, slightly hissing and then they are playing with a little ball for a while. It seems Minzie will get used to him :-)
