After a very long and boring week I'll go to bed now, armed with books, pens and paper, surrounded by cats and pillows...
I'm sorry I wasn't around much lately but i'm VERY sure I'll catch up with my f-list this weekend :-)

The mood here is beautfilly quiet and still, a wordless happiness. You feel they've just made love and are now resting, sinking into contented sleep. I love the phrase 'my name rest on your lips'. It's like his name is a kiss.

In a world where everyone, including Zeke, adopts a 'cover' for protection, Casey's raw honesty is truly unique. He is about confrontation, about facing up to the truth everyone else turns away from and that only he is clear-eyed enough to see. He saw Zeke's worth through his disguise, he saw what they could be together beyond Zeke's barriers.

Now Zeke looks at his sleeping boy and is filled with tenderness. "the land of nods" - that phrase is so cute - it makes me smile too!

Love has always been an illusion for Zeke. No wonder he still can't quite believe what Casey has brought into his life.

A crazy world where nothing made sense, where anything could happen - Casey has tamed it for him. While they lie close in each other's arms, everything is wonderful and just as it should be ... for now.

When I wrote this I just could see Zeke smiling, watching his love ... stunning... respectful, surrounded by the quiet of this incredible happiness he's feeling.
