But now I’m held

like a moth to flame …

breathing in the fragrance of your being.

I don’t dare to touch

until I shade away

This is wonderful, Julchen. 'Flames and shadow' might refer to the things Frodo sees in his mind on the quest. But then, an interlude - real or imagined - of being with Sam. Sad and beautiful.
