Hello f-list,

it seems I'll be back Sunday afternoon, can't tell you how much I missed you all.
Garden works are nearly finished (thanks God, I can feel every single bone and muscle) -
the flowers are full in bloom and tomorrow I'll get (hopefully) my new garden bench.

My did was at home for a few days but he my mom had to take him back to hospital yesterday because of another heart attack. Today he called us and he felt much better. It seems he's finally going to accept that he's not a 20-year-old-never-get-tired-man anymore. He's 72 and I hope he'll take care of himself now.

I'm doing very well (besides a massive sore muscles), weekend should be very relaxing so there will be some time for writing :-)

I'm so sorry to hear your father went back into the hospital, though I'm very glad to hear that he is feeling better. It must be a relief to you to hear that he is now taking his illness seriously and will start taking better care of himself.

I'm glad you are feeling okay except for your sore muscles. *rubs shoulders and puts warm heat pack on them*

Oh Julchen, can't tell how much I miss YOU - you're such a great part in our fandom. Glad to hear that you're okay.

It's sad to hear about your dad and his second heart attack - but good that he's feeling better now.

Hug you tight and cross fingers that it will work better from now on and you can come back to LJ (and to whatever you would like to do)

What lovely lavender!

I think cause I am closer to that age it doesn't seem so old. My mom is 74. I hope he gets better soon and is careful of what he does. The lavendar is almost sending a senses explosioin through the picture. It is utterly beautifull, like you. Hugs xoxoxoxo v

Ich mag den Geruch v on Lavendel eigentlich überhaupt nicht. Hab mir jetzt aber auch ne kleine Pflanze für meinen Setzstein gekauft, einfach weils ie pflegeleicht ist ;-P

I'm soooo jealous of your gorgeous lavender! Mine looks positively rachitic in comparison.

Sorry to hear your dad had another heart attack... but glad things seem to be okay. What a strain on him, and the rest of you, too. The flowers look lovely, so fresh and cheerful. There are jacaranda trees blooming all over Los Angeles right now, the same color.

I'm so sorry about your Dad, Julchen. But that's often the way, with several small heart attacks following on from one another. It's very possible to recover completely from this. He sounds like a strong man and I hope he does take lots of good care of himself from now on.

What beautiful lavender! I used to have several lavender bushes in my yard, but for some reason, they keep dying. I think they are very particular about how much water they get.

Gosh, what a scare for you all, but particularly your dad. Is it going to be a good scare, do you think? Maybe he will be more careful about how he goes about things from day to day. But what a time you all must have had. Your lavendar patch looks like the place to let go of tension. If that doesn't work, you can work in the garden another day. Then you'll be too tired to worry!
