 The Letter Memme 

I was given the letter "L" by

Because I'm late (as always) I'm sure all the missing letters are given

So here we go with L

LOVE - The essence of life ... 

Love's Philosophy
The fountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In another's being mingle--
Why not I with thine?

See, the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower could be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?

LORD OF THE RINGS
I'm glad my Dad gave me those wonderful books when I was young. 
LotR will guide me for a lifetime. 
I love to be bound to Middle Earth with all those wonderful people ... hobbits

LIGHT
On a dark and cloudy day there are lights I won't miss - I call them FRIENDS:

LEGOLAS
Middle Earth's most beautiful Elf! Word to this. 

LAUNDRY
It's always just the same. How the heck is it possible that this mountain is still growing. 
Mr. Doom of Laundry *sigh* - I'm still not used to it

LAUGHING
I love to laugh a lot, I love the crinkles around my eyes. 
A day without laughing is a lost day. 

LURKER
when I came here - about 3 years ago - I was just lurking the first months and then I HAD to tell those wonderful people how amazing they are.

LUXURY
For me luxury is time and opportunity to read for pleasure, to saddle the pony and stroll through my friends journals.

LANDSCAPE
Isn't our planet Earth beautiful? There are so many places I've seen and all of them are beautiful, the woods, the sea, the rivers, the flowers, the mountains. 
You want to know where I have been? Right here. 
Because words fly like birds across the landscape of the heart. 

LETTER
I love writing letters. Sometimes you don't know how to begin but it's all the more hard to stop. 

I didn't expect this post that long ... and Belle, it wasn't that easy but I enjoyed doing this

Now I'm off to bed.

What a great list - I can relate and agree with all of them except loving laundry - I do it but I sure don't love it!! Thanks so much for sharing this - as always I loved the verses you chose and all the LOVE you put into this - see - I can do L too!!

What do Angels Look Like?

Like the little old lady who returned your wallet yesterday.

Like the taxi driver who told you that
your eyes light up the world, when you smile.

Like the small child who showed you
the wonder in simple things.

Like the poor man who offered
to share his lunch with you.

Like the rich man who showed you it
really is all possible, if only you believe.

Like the stranger who just happened to come along,
when you had lost your way.

Like the friend who touched your heart,
when you didn't think you had one left to touch.

Angels come in all sizes and shapes,
All ages and skin types.

Some with freckles, some with dimples,
some with wrinkles, some without.

They come disguised as friends, enemies,
teachers, students, lovers and fools.

They don't take life too seriously,
They travel light.

They leave no forwarding address,
They ask for nothing in return.

They wear sneakers with gossamer wings,
They get a deal on dry cleaning.

They are hard to find when your eyes are closed, But
They are everywhere you look when you choose to see.
