A few days ago
invited me to play, I got the letter "N"
Thanks my dear, I had lots of fun doing the list
Nights – the most beautiful time of the day (for me) full of magic and dreams!
Notebooks – I’ll never leave our house without at least one of them, just in case there are some thoughts crossing my mind which had to be written down immediately
Nose – I love the nose of Elijah, so sweet, dainty and beautiful … (ok, not only the nose)
Nougat – Nougat ice cream, mmmmm
Nine – Nine companions… this number reminds me on a tattoo :-))
Nickname – when I was a child my schoolmates, sisters, parents were watching “Daktari” – I got the nickname Judy at once. Every year on my birthday I got bananas (and I still love them…) and this hasn't changed :-))
November – love this month with its silence, it’s the month before YULE. Most of the day it’s grey and cold but all the more I love quiet evenings sitting by the fire ... candle light, nougat tea, reading fanfiction and poetry (ok - fanfiction IS poetry) – who could ask for more?
North Star – the brightest one – it’s the star I picked up for Frodo and Elijah :-))
Nature –
"Nature" is what we see—
The Hill—the Afternoon—
Squirrel—Eclipse—the Bumble bee—
Nay—Nature is Heaven—
Nature is what we hear—
The Bobolink—the Sea—
Thunder—the Cricket—
Nay—Nature is Harmony—
Nature is what we know—
Yet have no art to say—
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity.
Emily Dickinson
Pablo Neruda – a wonderful poet
You know me – I can’t leave you without a little poem by him
Poetry
And it was at that age ... Poetry arrived
in search of me. I don't know, I don't know where
it came from, from winter or a river.
I don't know how or when,
no they were not voices, they were not
words, nor silence,
but from a street I was summoned,
from the branches of night,
abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there I was without a face
and it touched me.
The rest of it you’ll find here: http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/poetry-2/
This poem always reminds me on the wonderful writers AND readers here …
Have a wonderful Sunday f-list!
Love and kisses,
Julchen
