a new cat?

While gardening this afternoon he suddenly was there, right behind me, licking my feet.  
A very skinny cat, red/white fure and in an absolutely bad state. It looks like he was beaten, can't move his tail and his left foot.
I'll take him to the vet in 2 hours and we'll see. Hopefully he isn't that ill, though I think he had a very bad time. 
Keep your fingers crossed for him and for me. If everything is going to be ok I'm sure he'll move in. Right here. 

I'm nervous and so sad. Poor little one.
