I'm sooooooo happy!

Josh and I have been at the vet againt his morning and Josh was PEEING for HIMSELF!!!
you can't imagine what this means to me.
His chances of survival are now 100 % !!!
And he's soooo grateful for every little pat, for every little word ... I'm sitting here crying for hours and I can't stop.
It feels soooo good.

He's now sleeping at the hay loft, purring, snoring and dreaming.
Whenever he hears me he's running down the ladder and then he's glued to my legs :-))

I'm very very happy!
Thank you all for your support and love. It means he world to me ... and to Josh, too!

Now I'll have a look for him ... sitting at the hay loft, this incredible smell of summer in my nose, Josh on my lap, armed with notebooks and pencils, knowing YOU around... it simply can't be better

Whoa! I don't know where I've been, but I didn't know all this was going on. I just read your last few entries to find out what had happened to poor little Josh. I am so sorry he'd been abused, and so happy that he found you, and that he's going to be better now!

How wonderful that Josh is doing so well. Considering that he was mistreated, it's marvelous that he trusts you so much and is so loving. If only every stray, abandoned or mistreated cat could find someone to love and care for them as much as you love Josh....and how much he loves you. This is really wonderful news.

The little guy is doing very well. I was just in the garden to feed him and he's bouncing, jumping and he's soooo cuddly :-))
It's cat number 4 who found our home, I guess there must be a sign somewhere :-))

I got it and it's beautiful. Thank you for sending it. Because dial up is so slow, sometimes I get a red X instead of a photo at LJ. If I click on the "refresh" button, then sometimes the photo will open, but not always.

That's like my house. That is how we got two cats who were pregnant and had kittens while with us. Sometimes I wonder if people drop off a cat by my house because they know we are cat lovers and will take care of them.

Thank you, Mara! You should have seen him today, playing, jumping, climbing up and down the trees and his ladder to the hay loft. He seems to be very happy :-)) and so am I!

I'm so glad you cat is going to be ok. I have cats too and a sick or mistreated one just kills me. What breaks my heart the most is the fact that they can be mistreated and still want someone's love so much. If someone had mistreated me like that I sure wouldn't be trying to rub against another person's feet. I'd be way too scared. Animals and children....nothing like them.

Thank you, dear! I can't understand people hurting animals, cats, dogs, whatever. This makes me angry and very sad. You should see Josh today - loving, playful, energetic and truly happy it seems :_))

Dearest Julchen, I'm so so glad to hear that! You have saved his life, you are a real hero. It's so inspirational that you rescued this little fellow with your love and caring. Many people would have given up. You deserve every scrap of love he gives you. I hope you gain much pleasure from each other's company in the days to come. I just read all your posts about Josh. I'm so glad that he's going to be ok, Judith. Our Padme has gone into heat, so she's even more affectionate then before. We have a vet appointment for her next week, but she's looking so much better now that she has some weight on her. I'm hoping to post some pictures of her and the other cats once my computer is working properly.

I'm so glad Padme is doing better, honey. It seems two little fellows found a new home, one at you ... one at me. the check-up at the vet last Saturday was great! Little Josh don't miss his tail, he only climbs down the ladder very slowly and then you should see him. Jumping, bouncing, playing with his little red rubber ball. It's pure joy watching him.
I'm so looking forward to the pictures of Padme. And I miss you sooo very much, sis.
