The hourglass -

Without knowing

How much time

I just hold you.

Anything less

Is meaningless

Drifting closer to you…

Away

From my

Thinking mind.

I realized I missed something,

It turned out It was you.

You lift my head

And kiss me gently …

And the world cracks open.

Oh, Julchen, thank you!

Sometimes it takes a separation to realise what it is you truly value, and this poem captures that feeling perfectly. It begins so sad and yearning but then there is such a beautiful resolution. They found their way back to each other!
