 It's raining, it's too cold and I'm too energetic. My cats are still sleeping, my room mate, too. 
I got up at 5 a.m. (as usual) and I just didn't know what to do ... unbelievable. All work done, nothing left. 
I must be crazy. But I can't sleep, I won't sleep any longer and waste my time. 
So pen and paper are my best friends at this time of the day :-)

He had to go earlier this morning ... 
It's the first time in weeks I'm alone 
at this time of the day. 
Putting away the dishes, starting the laundry, 
reading the newspaper ...
everything smells of him.

I got my little wonder
I don't have to be alone anymore.
Sometimes I try to stay awake at night
just watching you...
sleeping
breathing
even when my eyes feel like 
sandpaper

Oh, the ache! Where has he gone? Back to college? Now Zeke is alone, but he's never alone now. Always, his "little wonder" is with him in spirit :-) I adore the image of him watching Casey sleep, storing up memories!
