Josh update

It's been a while ... 
So here's Josh today when I came home from Berlin ... 
He was bouncing around like mad and then he was just cuddly. 


I'm so happy to be back home, all the kitties are ok and I'm ok again, too. 

The Musical Mama Mia! was fantastic! What a show! Great actors and great music. OK it was ABBA, it IS great!

Berlin is an amazing city. We've seen a lot, yesterday we just watched people...nothing more. It's wonderful to do this...

I think I told you we've been invited by Wolfgang's cousin. So no hotel would be needed, he told us. 
He's a single . That's ok. But the flat - if I would call it like that. Dust and dirt wherever you are. And the smell!
We had to sleep between snakes, spiders, lizards and scorpions together with 2 big dogs, his cousin and dozens free running mice. We couldn't get a hotel room because of the holidays so we had to stay there for 3 f..... nights. 
I never felt so dirty in my life. We couldn't use the bathroom because of hairs on the floor, water and something nonedescriptly around the toilet and the bathtub, there was no shower so Wolf and I went to a swimming pool nearby to get a shower. It was pure horror. When we came back home today I was in the shower for more than 1 hour and now -  looking at our flat  - I feel like a queen. I don't have to mention I didn't sleep more than 3 hours the last days and now I'm so tired, I can't sleep. Good for me. Time to catch up with my wonderful and very much missed f-list. 

I'm so glad knowing you around. Now I'll enjoy my beautiful life here more than ever!

wow... that's horrible. i can't even imagine something that bad, you'd think he would have had more consideration for guests. that's just disgusting!

I'm more than back to be back home.
Josh and Luna are my softies, the rest of my cats are more active, rascals you could say :-)
This morning Mousy and Lilly caught my slippers (because they love them) and now I can't find them *sigh* But it's ok, sometimes they just need something of me, socks, shirts, handbags...

What a nightmare experience. My brother and his wife are like that and we visit only when it might cause problems in the family if we don't. Yuck! I'm glad you are back in the comfort and shower of your own home.

Ha ha! I loved your story, Julchen (and loved the news on dear Josh, too), about your stay with Wolfgang's cousin. I have been to stay with hosts whose idea of a welcoming place to stay does not match my own--the worst was a house with lots of dog fleas, to whose bites I am very allergic; I had burning patches of itches for weeks--but it's hard to complain if the hosts are gracious and hospitable (ours was). But I can well sympathize with your euphoria at getting back home.

Dog fleas *shivers* I know this too well, dear. The host wasn't gracious or hospitable, not at all. It's unbelievable - he invited us for 4 days and then he wasn't at home, the only time he wanted us to show Berlin he lead us to a disgusting little bar with ... how to say it ... the people there were drunk, dirty and they even had a striptease dancer ... I don't have to mention we left afer 5 minutes. Jesus Christ. That wasn't Berlin I wanted to see.
But we had a wonderful time and I'm sure I'll forget about this "friendliness".
I'm all the more happier to be back home, my lovely and clean kitties around, just relaxing and dreaming. It couldn't be better!

There was no park around, only a little bench infront of the house with 2 drunken men . They've been sitting there all night long.

OMG! So you didn't have a good time in Berlin! I do not know what to say - I am a terrible housekeeper but if I have company I clean up a little! I wonder if his Mom ever visits?

His mom visited him a few weeks before, she knew about it. She called us yesterday night and simply ask "did you enjoy it?". I only had to laugh, so I said "there's too less space for 3 persons and 2 dogs". She wanted to know more but I didn't tell her anything. She's a very curious lady and no... I'll keep quiet and forget about it.
This morning I cleaned the windows, mopped the floor, scrubbed the litter boxes and I tell you what, I enjoyed doing it :-)
Luna is a perfect assistant while cleaning, she's singing along with the music - she's an absolutely Beatles Fan *giggles*. Her favourite song is help, LOL. Oh yes, she's a great help!

Oh...I'm so glad Josh is doing OK. Is he completely well now?

Wolfgang's cousin may be a single guy living alone, but there is no excuse for having such a filthy flat. And he didn't even clean it up when he knew he was having guests!! Yikes! I can see why he's single. What woman would want to live with a man like that.

Thank you, darling. Josh is doing better though he's still very thin and he doesn't eat very well. He needs vitamines and lots of love, today he's running around, playing with his football and it seems he's simply happy.
The desease that he don't feel when he has to pee will remain, but he's alive. And he's my sweet little kittie. Dirty, sometimes a little bit, hmmm... bad smelling, who cares. He's living outside, he has the biggest living room a cat can get (our hay stack) and we and the neighbours just love him.

"What woman would want to live with a man like that"That's exactly what I was thinking.

Yes, the white cat is my cat Luna. She's a lady, very soft and quiet and she loooooves music, especially the songs of the Beatles. Her favourite one is "Help!", LOL. I wish you could hear her singing along. She always sits on the CD player, at the moment she sings togethter with Enrique Iglesias "Hero" ... sometimes I don't know who's singing, Luna or Enrique, LOL.

Yes, I couldn't have said it better - the best part, especially in this case, is being at home again. Together with my cats, they are singing all day long, knowing wonderful friends like you around. It couldn't be better.

Dankeschön, mein Herz. Ich wäre am liebsten wieder rausgerannt aber es war einfach kein Zimmer in Berlin zu kriegen. Also Augen zu (ging nicht) und durch (geschafft!).
Aber diese Mörderhitze, der Geruch von all dem Getier (ich liebe Tiere, versteh mich nicht falsch) und 2 Mann in einem Zimmer. Das Schärfste daran war, wir mussten in einem Stockbett oben schlafen, zu zwei auf einer Fläche von 90 x 190 cm. Ich kann dir gar nicht sagen wie ich heute Nacht mein Bett genossen habe. Sich auszustrecken, zu drehen und vor allen Dingen waren keine knabbernden und rennenden Mäuse zu sehen.

ich vermiss dich, Anja. Sehr sogar. Aber jetzt hab ich ja noch bis zum 6. August Urlaub und ein Briefchen ist dir sicher :-)

The other cat is my British shorthair Luna, she's a lady and very soft and warmhearted. She's my assistant while cooking and cleaning and she loves music, especially The Beatles song "Help", LOL.

I'M so happy to be back home, Mara, I can't tell you how happy I am.
You should see my kitties now - playing in the kitchen,jumping onto the bed, Mousy is still sleeping on one of my shirts. She and Lilly played with my slippers this morning, now I can't find them anymore, LOL. But it's ok.
Josh is sleeping in his hay stack, purring and dreaming. Whenever I'm in the garden he's around, he never lets me out of sight. It's time for a little football game with this little rascal.
