It's too hot to be outside so where's the best place to be ?
Right here ... talking to friends, dreaming together , armed with feather quill and notebook... what a wonderful world it can be, right?

I kissed him.
I truly kissed him.
All what counts
I hold in my arms.
He sinks down on his knees,
trembling all over,
weeping silently.
I didn’t expect this coming.
No, that’s not true.
I knew exactly this
would be happening
at the very first moment
he looked at me…
straight into my heart,
deep into my inner self
He thinks I’m in danger.
This makes me smile.
I have no fear.
All is new and fresh –
for me as well
as it is for him.
Here in my arms
is the “real” Zeke,
No mask,
just a young and warmhearted man,
emotions naked like the rising sun.
Nobody knows him
like this.
The magic of this moment
is intense.
The intensity of emotions …
overwhelming.
Intensity…
This word has a new meaning ...
I’m glad he found the courage
to tell me
how much he wants me.
Without words.
His head on my chest …
listening to my beating heart.
Silently.
Powerful.
Only he and I.
in each other’s arms
my name resting on your lips...
floating on a whisper...
I am in love.
My universe
is here.

Okay, I am mush now.
The bravery of Zeke in this moment is heart-rending and the imagery of the two of them just wrapped so intensely in each other after this watershed moment is just wonderful. You are giving me such a unique perspective on them. When someone represses their emotions, tapping into them can release the dam and I see this as happening to Zeke, so shaken by the force of his reaction. You capture it beautifully.

This makes me smile.

For all that this is very tender and romantic, I get an impression of a very strong Casey. Anything that comes from these emotional meltdowns, he can handle. He is such a tough little warrior, even in love! *adores*

A quality I really like in this series of 'dialogue' poems is the heightened feeling of intimacy. I love situations where the pairing is almost claustrophobically related and sufficient to each other and I feel this here. No one else really exists for either of them and it makes everything almost painfully intense - which is great.
