Early morning hours.
Eyes squeezed tightly shut.
Scent ... familiar.
Pulse ... oppressive beat...
pounding...
in his head.

Windows.
Sun.
He.
Warmed by strong sunlight.
Minutes pass ...
or is it hours?

Eyes open slowly.
Breathing ... nearly impossible.
Intertwined fingers...
loose...
clumsy...
lips...touch them.
Lips... feather-like....
unrelenting...
touching at the gentle
curve of his neck...
Kissing around his ear.
words... impossible.
Unnecessary...
Groans... unintelligible...
Pleasure.
Because of this slowness.
Soft smiles.
Tender fingers
in the tangled mess
of Zeke's hair.

"Breakfast?"
Snoring like a cat.
Head shaking...
a murmur...
"No. This now..."
Whispers against his lips.
"This now..."
he mumbles
before
sinking back into his arms...
into a peaceful sleep
with happy dreams...
Sleep...
