Hello Hello!!!!

Finally I'm back.3 weeks ago I twisted my knee and the doctor found out this week it's a rupture of the right meniscus. Fine. This isn't all. There's an inflammation in the knee as well so we have to get this fixed at first and then up to the surgery.
But it means - YAY - I can't walk properly (so I've to stop delivering the newspapers) and I have to sit (this works quite nicely). So I can be here for the next 5 weeks DAILY!
Sounds great to me. I missed you guys. Totally! But now I'll try to catch up and read my birthday posts (I'm still not done with them).

Few minutes ago I listened to the song "Someone like you" from the wonderful Adele and this song always makes me cry. It's so beautiful and so sad... *sigh* If you don't know it, you can find it at youTube (I wish I'd know how to post the link, sorry - after all these years I'm still a computer greenhorn).

And now I'll take lots of your stories / posts with me to the garden (50 steps down aren't that easy I can tell you) and I'll come back to you when I'm done :-)

It's so lovely to see you here at last. You're the most amazing person i know. You see the bright side of everything even though it must have been a tough 3 weeks. I know you're happy that giving up your paper round will mean you can spend more time here, and that's great, but i also know it'll be a struggle. Thank you sweetheart for being you!! (((hugs)))

Ich find's auch fantastisch! Das Knie - das kriegen wir schon wieder hin, das ist so der kleine (wilkommene) Nebeneffekt der Zwangspause *g*
Ich kann's gar nicht erwarten, endlich wieder Fuß hier zu fassen und zu posten (wenn nur alles schon getippt wäre...).
Dein Icon ist soooo schön. Ich muss meine mal wieder auf einen aktuellen Stand bringen, es sind sogar noch Wintericons dabei ...

I try to walk the steps only 4 times the day - the last days it worked!
I'm glad you like the picture, the little rose is blooming at my mom's garden right beside the garden bench my dad made for her.

Hey, it isn't that bad - I just ignore the pain (the painkillers always make me giggle and I'm feeling slightly drunk, LOL).
Now I'll take the rest of my office (I'm using the butterfly bag I got from a sweet honeypie) down to the garden with tons of cards, stamps, notebooks and pencils ...

Enjoy your time off and take it easy so you can have your surgery. Hope you have lots of help at home for flowers and feeding kitties. I have been away a lot lately between work and preparing for olds daughter's wedding in July.

If there's anyone who can look on the bright side, even of a knee injury, it's you, Julchen. :) Have a truly satisfying convalescence! The surgery - will it be laparascopic? I take it they'll have to repair the meniscus some how or other. *smooches*

I feel really good and very relaxed. The decision what kind of surgery it will be will be made next Monday. As you said - they'll have to repair the meniscus and I can't wait for it.

I'm so sorry about your poor knee, love. I so hope it isn't painful and that you can get the treatment you need.
