I wondered why there are so few people around until I noticed (right now) most of friend's entries don't show up.
So I have to mark them one by one that I want to get notes about entries by mail. Quite a work - but it's worth it.
LJ is so different and I don't know if I like it or not. At the moment I don't like it - but I will mold it to my liking

I used to get email notices when my friends did a new entry, but I was getting too many emails. I still get them for replies to my comments though Now have notices sent to my Inbox instead of emails for new entries. When I want to read entries or comments, I go to my Inbox and everything is there in one place. I like it MUCH better this way.

We love coffee. I couldn't live without it.

Too many e-mails, hmmm... that's a point I should rethink.
I'm a tea fanatic but a cup of hot steaming coffee in the morning is hard to beat, right?

LJ definitely has issues now. I no longer have a paid account and i find I don't miss that in the least.

Also folks are just posting less, once one day of posts on my flirt would cover 2 pages, now I might have several days entries on just one page.

Maybe it's because of the holiday season, people might be busy... or lazy, LOL.

I didn't realize that friends' entries aren't showing up. I'll have to check that out. :(

There should be a place on your profile page near the top on the right hand side that should allow you to switch back to the old LJ version. I don't know if it works on custom layouts, but if you had an old LJ one, it should work. Good luck!

I changed some adjustments and now it works properly :-)

LJ has some funny glitches these days.

I don't know the old way LJ worked (been here only since the end of 2012) and I like it well enough to continue. I get email notifications if someone comments on my entry or replies to my comment. For the rest, I just check my "Friends" page as often as I have time. The number of new posts by friends is a bit uneven but I wouldn't be able to keep up with much more.
P.S My coffee is strong, milky and sweet. :-)
