Snow... snow... snow...
This little fellow took some rest in our garden when I shovelled snow... A little colour dot ... wonderful.
Have a great weekend, I'll be back later, my friends!

Beautiful!

This bird is a bullfinch. There are lots of them here today.

Great pic! I love the splash of color in the middle of all the white/gray/black. Glad you had a visitor. :-)

That's a lovely picture. Such a beautiful contrast between the muted colors of the winter garden and that colorful bird. Really great!

What a lovely, colorful bird. I guess he doesn't mind the cold. There are so many birds at my feeders that I have to fill them every day. We have too much snow for them to find food naturally.

[identity profile] julchen11.livejournal.com 2015-02-07 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
Learning how much snow you have I'm glad the birds have you. I just filled the feeders for many many finches, sparrows and blackbirds. Even two woodpeckers are coming over for almost 2 weeks now.

What a wonderful icon you have. I don't know this bird.

Have a great weekend, my dear.
*sending warm hugs*

The bird in my icon is a sapsucker woodpecker. Perhaps you don't have them in Europe. Only the males have the red on the top of their head. We have several kinds of woodpeckers at our feeders. They LOVE the suet feeder as well as sunflower seeds.
