That is what I wanted on the evening of the eclipse, to know all my lj friends could see the same rare phenomena and were looking. But it was overcast here and I could not see the moon. I was sad.

But then, really, rationally whenever I look at the moon, I am seeing Julchen's moon and Shoe's moon. And then my friend, think on it. We are seeing the same moon that our dear Professor Tolkien saw, the same as Victor Hugo, Mahatma Gandhi and John Lennon. The beauty is there for everyone that will take the time to see.

Awwww, you are sooo good to me.

In broad daylight, and at noon,
Yesterday I saw the moon
Sailing high, but faint and white,
As a schoolboy's paper kite.

In broad daylight, yesterday,
I read a poet's mystic lay;

As a phantom, or a ghost.

But at length the feverish day
