A poet's view

I see things clearly
and yet I am called a dreamer.
Yes, I am a poet who sees things
only another poet can see.
These details of raw reality
one who views life vividly
I write because it is
part of my soul's work
and yet I am labeled insane
as long as life goes on
I'll unleash the verse erupting
inside my brain

Faith Elisabeth Brigham

Thank you, Ami - for everything you gave to me -
your wonderful chats (though the last time I met you is far too long ago)
your gorgeous green book
Vandolay with Frodo and Froebel.

Thank you, little poet, for being my friend.
Thank you again, for being allowed to be your friend!

May this day be very special. Your wishes are my wishes for you!

Lots of love and hugs,
Julchen

Oooh, I really enjoyed that poem. I have to agree that there is a special bond between poets (and writers!) that only we can understand.

That green book was so fun to make for you. Every time I think about poetry, I think of that book.

Hee hee, as much as I wish Frodo was in Vandolay, he's not. That's A Familiar Stranger ;) Friedrich's in Vandolay :D

It was a great day except for the end *shudder*

I'm glad you like it, Ami. I totally agree, there IS a special bond between poets and writers. My beloved green book! You should see it now, I added many many well chosen treasures.
Oh my - my brain worked slow, of course it's Friedrich *rolls eyes*

have a great day, sweetie!
