How do you know that this is a relationship that has lasting power?
Where will we be in a month, in a year?
Do you really want to be with me? Or is it just because of we had to go through?
That you only feel responsible for me?

“Casey, Casey. Stop this.”
Taking you in my arms I don’t have to think about the answers to your questions.
“Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others,
It is because we are different that each of us is special.”
Snuggling closer you murmur with a smile: “Said who?”

It isn’t easy for me talking about emotions and feelings but I’ll give it a try.
